Burgruine Hohennagold is a medieval castle ruin perched prominently on the Schlossberg (castle mountain) hill, clearly visible from afar above the Black Forest town of Nagold in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Built around 1100 by the Counts of Nagold and later expanded in the 12th century, it is among the largest and most beautiful castle ruins in the state and serves as Nagold's landmark. The relatively well-preserved 12th-century ruins still show the keep behind curtain walls, a northwestern tower, and an outer ward with half-round and angular towers.

Visitors can reach the site via hiking trails through a nature reserve and are rewarded with stunning views over the Heckengäu, the Black Forest, and on clear days as far as the Swabian Jura. The ruin was severely damaged in 1645 during the Thirty Years' War, partially demolished in 1646, and later partially destroyed again in 1945 by Allied aircraft, after which it was restored as a ruin.

Today it is a popular regional excursion destination with occasional weekend refreshments at the DIGELPavillon and several events held throughout the year.
