Burgruine Hohenschramberg is a castle ruin located in Schramberg, Germany, built starting in 1457 by Hans von Rechberg, making it one of the last castles constructed in Germany.

It stands on a steep rocky outcrop and was once a large, fortified fortress with walls up to six meters thick. The castle saw a turbulent history; it was besieged during the Thirty Years' War in 1633 and later destroyed by French forces in 1689 during the War of Succession. After changing hands multiple times, including ownership by the House of Austria from 1583 to 1805, the castle fell into ruin but was partially restored between 1957 and 1983.

Today, it is well preserved as a historical site and offers visitors scenic views and a glimpse into the region's medieval past. The castle also hosts cultural events, including an annual musical celebration in August. Visitors can reach it by a hike through the surrounding forest, enjoying both the natural beauty and historical significance of the site.
