Burgruine Rodersen is a 12th-century hilltop castle ruin located north of Wolfhagen in the Kassel district of Hesse, Germany, originally called Roderikessen.
Built around 1180-1200 under the Archbishopric of Mainz to secure borders against Thuringia, it was destroyed in 1231 by Landgrave Konrad of Thuringia and finally razed in 1261 during the Thuringian-Hessian War of Succession.
Remnants include an 8x8-meter square bergfried tower foundation, outer wall fragments, cellars, and a neck ditch on the Niederelsungen district's edge, freely accessible amid the Habichtswald Nature Park near the Erpe Valley.
