Cape Fear Botanical Garden, located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, was established in 1989 on an 80-acre site nestled between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek.

Originally conceived by local gardening enthusiasts and supported by community efforts, the garden has grown into a diverse landscape that blends curated gardens, native habitats, and natural landscapes. It features extensive native plant collections, including one of the largest collections of camellias and daylilies in the area, along with specialty gardens like a Heritage Garden that showcases historic agricultural structures and a Children’s Garden designed for hands-on exploration.

The garden also includes peaceful features such as the Cypress Pond, which is teeming with wildlife like fish, turtles, and waterfowl, offering a tranquil retreat.
