Castello Barbò is a historic castle located in Pumenengo, Lombardy, near the Oglio River.

Originally built in the 12th century as a defensive fortress, it was expanded and rebuilt over the centuries, particularly under the noble Barbò family, from whom it takes its name. The castle played an important role in protecting the area during regional conflicts and became both a military stronghold and a noble residence. The structure features a distinctive trapezoidal layout, towers, remnants of a moat, and architectural elements that reflect its medieval origins.

Over time, parts of the castle were adapted for residential and administrative use, with decorative interiors added by later generations. Today, Castello Barbò is owned by the municipality of Pumenengo and serves as the town hall and public library following restoration work.
