Castello dei Solaro is a historic medieval castle located in Villanova Solaro, in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont.

Originally built as a fortified stronghold near the border between the territories of the Princes of Acaja and the Marquisate of Saluzzo, it played an important defensive role during centuries of regional conflict. The castle was reconstructed and expanded over time, eventually passing to the Solaro family, from whom it takes its current name.

As military threats declined, it gradually evolved from a fortress into an elegant noble residence surrounded by gardens and refined interiors. Today, Castello dei Solaro is a well-preserved historic landmark known for its medieval architecture and cultural significance. It is frequently used for events and celebrations, while continuing to showcase the rich history and heritage of the Piedmont region.
