Castello della Manta is a remarkably preserved medieval castle located in the village of Manta, near Saluzzo in Piedmont, northern Italy.

Originally built as a fortified stronghold in the 12th century, it was transformed in the 15th century by the Saluzzo della Manta family into an elegant noble residence. The castle is especially famous for its extraordinary Late Gothic frescoes, considered among the finest in Europe. These include depictions of the Nine Worthies, the Nine Heroines, and the celebrated Fountain of Youth, which decorate the magnificent Baronial Hall.

Today, the castle is managed by the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (FAI) and is one of Piedmont’s most important cultural landmarks. Visitors come to admire its historic rooms, artistic treasures, and beautiful setting overlooking the surrounding countryside and the Alps.
