Castello di Baratuli is a ruined medieval fortress located on Mount Olladiri near Monastir in southern Sardinia.

Built around the middle of the 12th century by the Judges of Cagliari, it occupied a strategic hilltop position that allowed it to monitor and defend the Campidano region. The castle was constructed on a site that had already been inhabited since prehistoric times, adding to its historical significance. Over the centuries, the fortress passed to the powerful Della Gherardesca family and later came under Pisan control.

In the early 14th century, it was destroyed, likely to prevent it from falling into Aragonese hands, and the nearby village of Baratuli was also abandoned. Today, only the ruins remain, including traces of its distinctive hexagonal layout, walls, cistern, and main tower foundations. The site offers wide panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is surrounded by important prehistoric and Nuragic archaeological remains, making it a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts.
