Castello di Briona is a medieval castle located on a hill above the village of Briona in Piedmont, where it has long served as a strategic lookout over the surrounding plains and routes leading toward Novara.

The earliest documented references to a fortification on the site date back to 1140, although its origins may be even older. Over the centuries, the castle was owned by several influential families, including the Visconti, Sforza, Tornielli, and Solaroli families.

Much of the structure seen today was developed during the 14th and 15th centuries, when it was expanded into a fortified noble residence. With its distinctive quadrangular layout, towers, and well-preserved historic features, the castle remains one of the most notable landmarks in the Novara area.
