Castello di Brusasco is a historic castle located in the hills of Piedmont, overlooking the village of Brusasco near the Po River.

Its origins date back to the late 9th or early 10th century, when it was built as a refuge and defensive stronghold in a region frequently affected by invasions and flooding. Over the centuries, the castle passed through the hands of several noble families and was repeatedly expanded and rebuilt.

The structure visible today largely reflects an 18th-century reconstruction commissioned by the Cotti family, combining historic castle elements with elegant aristocratic features. Surrounded by a medieval village and parkland, the castle remains one of the most important landmarks in the area. It is closely linked to local history, including a visit by Giuseppe Garibaldi during the Italian Risorgimento, and continues to stand as a symbol of Brusasco’s rich heritage.
