Castello di Camino is one of the most impressive and well-preserved castles in the Monferrato region of Piedmont.

Perched on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside, its origins date back to the 11th century, when it was built as a fortified stronghold by the Aleramici family before passing to the Marquises of Monferrato and later the influential Scarampi family. Over the centuries, the castle evolved from a medieval fortress into an elegant noble residence.

A major 19th-century restoration added Neo-Gothic interiors, including richly decorated halls, a library, a theater adorned with scenes from Don Quixote, and a private chapel, while preserving its towers and crenellated walls. Surrounded by a large park of centuries-old trees, the castle is renowned for its architectural beauty, historical significance.
