Castello di Cerreto is a medieval castle located in the historic village of Cerreto Castello, in the Biella area of Piedmont.

The site has roots dating back to the Middle Ages, and the castle was developed by the noble Avogadro family, who controlled the area from the 12th century onward. Originally built as a fortified residence, the castle was expanded over the centuries and became the focal point of the village. Its most recognizable feature is a surviving cylindrical tower, a reminder of the castle’s defensive role and medieval architecture.

Perched on a hill with views of the surrounding countryside and the Alps, the castle remains an important symbol of local history and heritage. Although privately owned, it continues to define the character of the village and reflects the rich feudal past of the Biella region.
