Castello di Jerago is a medieval castle located on a small hill in Jerago con Orago, in the Province of Varese.

Built as part of the northern defensive system of the Duchy of Milan, it occupied a strategic position and was closely linked to the powerful Visconti family, who controlled the castle and surrounding lands from the 13th century onward. Originally designed as a fortress with strong defensive features, the castle served as a refuge for local residents during periods of conflict and witnessed several important historical events, including regional struggles involving the Visconti, French, and Spanish forces.

After the Visconti family line ended in the 18th century, the castle was gradually transformed into a noble residence. Windows, gardens, and more comfortable living spaces were added while preserving much of its medieval character. Today, it remains a well-preserved private property and stands as one of the most significant historic landmarks in the area.
