Castello di Lispida is a historic estate nestled in the Euganean Hills near Monselice in the Veneto region of Italy.

It began as the Monastery of Santa Maria di Lispida in the 12th century, when Augustinian monks settled on the site and cultivated the surrounding land, which was well suited for vineyards and olive groves. Over the centuries, the property passed through various religious and private owners.

After the monastery was dissolved in the late 18th century, the Corinaldi family transformed the site into a villa and wine-producing estate, constructing many of the buildings seen today and developing extensive wine cellars. The estate also played a role in modern history, serving as the headquarters of King Vittorio Emanuele III during the final stages of World War I.

Because of this association, it became known as “Villa Italia.” Today, Castello di Lispida is best known for its combination of historical heritage, vineyards, and hospitality facilities. It remains an important landmark of the Euganean Hills, preserving traces of its monastic, aristocratic, and winemaking past.
