Castello di Peschiera Borromeo, also known as Castello Borromeo, is a historic castle located in Peschiera Borromeo, just east of Milan.

Its origins lie in a fortified farmhouse that was transformed into a castle in 1432 by Vitaliano I Borromeo, a prominent banker and nobleman serving the Duke of Milan. Originally built for defense, the castle featured towers, drawbridges, and a moat. Over time, as military threats declined, it was gradually converted into an elegant noble residence by the Borromeo family, particularly during renovations carried out in the late 16th century.

The castle preserves Renaissance architectural elements, decorated interiors, and a distinctive water-filled moat that still surrounds the building today. The castle remains one of the oldest Borromeo properties in Lombardy and is an important example of how medieval fortifications evolved into aristocratic residences. Although privately owned, it is known for its well-preserved appearance, historic atmosphere, and proximity to Milan.
