Castello di Pinzano is a medieval hilltop fortress overlooking the Tagliamento River in Friuli Venezia Giulia.

First mentioned in the 12th century, it was controlled by the noble Pinzano family before passing to the powerful Savorgnan family in the 14th century after a period of internal conflict and political intervention by the Patriarch of Aquileia. Built in a highly strategic position, the castle was protected by multiple walls, towers, and the natural defenses of the surrounding cliffs, making it an important regional stronghold.

Although centuries of abandonment, earthquakes, and warfare reduced it to ruins, the site remains a fascinating historical landmark known for its dramatic setting and panoramic views over the Tagliamento Valley.
