Castello di Signa is a historic medieval fortress located on a hill above the town of Signa, near Florence.

Its origins date back to before the 10th century, and it was built in a strategically important position overlooking the Arno River and the surrounding area. The castle was protected by strong walls and towers that helped defend the settlement from raids and military threats.

In the 14th and 15th centuries, the fortifications were strengthened by Florence, with renovations that included work associated with the famous architect Filippo Brunelleschi. Although parts of the original walls have been lost, several towers and sections of the fortifications remain visible today. The castle district forms the oldest part of Signa, offering visitors a glimpse of medieval Tuscany, historic churches, and scenic views over the surrounding countryside.
