Castello di Torregalli is a historic castle and villa located on the outskirts of Florence, between the Arno and Greve rivers.

Originally part of a defensive network protecting the area, it began as a fortified tower and estate owned by the influential Nerli family in the 15th century before gradually evolving into an elegant Renaissance residence. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the complex was expanded with courtyards, a walled garden, a Renaissance loggia, and decorative features that reflected the wealth and status of its owners.

When the Galli family acquired the property in 1623, they further enhanced the estate, giving it the name Torregalli that it still bears today. Today, Castello di Torregalli is valued for its blend of medieval, Renaissance, and later architectural styles. Surrounded by gardens and landscaped grounds, it remains an important example of how a defensive fortress was transformed over time into a prestigious noble residence.
