The Castle of Carpineto Sinello, also known as the Ducal Castle or Palazzo Ducale Bassi D’Alanno, is the main historic landmark of the village of Carpineto Sinello in Italy’s Abruzzo region.

Originally built in the 14th century around an existing medieval tower, it was later transformed through renovations in the 16th and 18th centuries, evolving from a defensive fortress into a noble residence. Perched on a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside, the castle combines military and residential features, including a fortified tower, interconnected buildings, a courtyard, and decorative interior elements such as stucco work and murals.

It was associated with several feudal families, notably the Bassi family, who helped shape its later appearance. Today, the castle remains a prominent symbol of Carpineto Sinello’s heritage. Although it has undergone significant modifications over the centuries and is currently undergoing restoration, it continues to dominate the village skyline and reflects the area's medieval and aristocratic past.
