Crawl Cay
Belize, Belize
Crawl Cay (often spelled Crawl Caye) is a small private island on the northwestern edge of the Turneffe Atoll in Belize, lying roughly 25–30 miles east of Belize City and just a short distance east of the main Barrier Reef. It sits in a shallow, turquoise lagoon dotted with countless coral heads and is surrounded by nearby reef walls only about half to two miles away, making it a prime spot for diving, snorkeling, and fishing in very clear, wildlife‑rich waters. The island is around 40–50 acres in size, largely undeveloped and covered in coconut palms and natural vegetation, and is mostly marketed as private‑island real estate or a low‑impact base for marine tourism rather than a built‑up resort.
