The Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens in Dunsmuir, California, were established in 1992 when a group of local volunteers formed the Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens Committee to enhance the natural setting of the city park located along the Sacramento River.

The gardens feature a variety of native and ornamental plants, including native dogwoods, wild azaleas, Shasta lilies, rhododendrons, hostas, ferns, and Japanese maples. They provide a tranquil environment with walking paths, picnic areas, and a meadow stage used for weddings and social gatherings during the warmer months.
