Remodeled in the late 16th century with a medieval chapel incorporated and further expanded in the late 17th with a three-winged manor and four-winged front house, it features an intact early 18th-century French garden overlooking the Agger River valley.
Since 1924 operated as a charitable foundation for canonesses by the Rhenish Knighthood per the last owner Countess Marie von Nesselrode's will, the privately owned site hosts events like weddings while remaining closed to regular public access.
