Verified Enchanted Forest

Oregon, United States

Enchanted Forest is a charming, family-owned theme park located in Turner, Oregon, just south of Salem. It was hand-built by Roger Tofte over seven years, opening in 1971 on 20 wooded acres bought for $4,000.

The park started with the Storybook Lane trail featuring life-sized, handmade storybook character sculptures and gradually expanded to include themed areas like Wild West Town, Old European Village, and attractions such as the Haunted House and Ice Mountain Bobsled. It operates seasonally from March to September and welcomes around 100,000 visitors annually.

Enchanted Forest is cherished for its unique artisanal creations, nostalgic charm, and welcoming atmosphere, with frequent family events and entertainment. The park also has a reputation for ghostly sightings, adding a mysterious allure to its fairy-tale theme.
