Farm Gut Stubbe
Rieseby, Germany, Germany
Farm Gut Stubbe is a protected historic manor estate in Rieseby, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, with origins tracing back to 1197 when it belonged to the Michaeliskloster in Schleswig as a bishop's holding rich in forest, game, and fish.
First documented owner Helmbrecht von Visbeke held it from 1332 amid regional turmoil, evolving through noble and bourgeois hands including the Ahlefeld, Pogwisch, and Kruse families until 2005 when acquired by Dr. Bernd Kortüm for sustainable farming and preservation.
The site features a neoclassical single-story brick manor built 1804-1808, a 1913 gatehouse with sandstone coat of arms, rebuilt barns from the early 20th century, and surrounding parkland.
