Fort Stevenson State Park in North Dakota covers about 586 acres on a peninsula along the northern shore of Lake Sakakawea near Garrison.

Named after a 19th-century military fort that originally stood nearby but is now submerged underwater due to the lake’s formation, the park offers a mix of outdoor recreation and historical exploration.
