Frauenberg Ruine is a medieval castle ruin on a basalt hilltop in Ebsdorfergrund, Hesse, Germany, built in 1252 by Sophie of Brabant, daughter of Saint Elisabeth, to control trade routes to Amöneburg and counter Mainz's Ohmfeste fortress.
