Freizeitpark Ruhpolding is a compact family theme park in the Bavarian Alps, a short drive from the town of Ruhpolding near Lake Chiemsee and operated by the Aigner family.
Spread over about 50,000 square metres in a forested area, it has offered fun for more than 55 years and includes more than 60 rides and attractions that suit smaller children and older visitors alike. Key highlights include the mountain roller coaster “Gipfelstürmer,” various boat and water slides such as “Wasserwirbel” and “Wasserhüpfer,” a large slide complex, a low‑rope treetop park (Waldseilgarten), and a “Märchenland” or fairy‑tale area with themed play and adventure scenes.
The park is open seasonally from spring to autumn, has a restaurant serving Bavarian food, and is a popular day‑trip destination for school groups and families in the Chiemgau region.
