Gaisburg is a historic district in Stuttgart-Ost, Germany, located along the Neckar River east of the city center, with roots as an 11th- or 12th-century clearing settlement around a now-vanished castle that gave it protection.

Once a wine-growing area that industrialized rapidly, it featured landmarks like the 1618 Schloss Gaisburg (demolished), the 1913 Stadtpfarrkirche with its Gothic apostles and murals, and the pioneering Gaswerk producing city gas from 1874-1972, known for its "Gaisburger Regen" steam clouds.

Annexed by Stuttgart in 1901 after infrastructure deals including streetcar lines, it suffered heavy WWII damage but now undergoes urban renewal via the "Stuttgart 32 - Gaisburg" project to enhance living quality amid its mix of industry, housing, and Neckar views.
