Giardini Ravino
Forio, Italy, Italy
Giardini Ravino is a botanical park in Forio on the island of Ischia, known for one of Europe’s largest collections of cacti and succulents.
It was created from the long passion of Captain Giuseppe D’Ambra and opened to the public in 2005, with about 5,000 plants and hundreds of species spread across roughly 6,000–6,500 square meters. The garden is designed as an acclimatization park, with easy paths and a mix of Mediterranean and exotic plants, so visitors can enjoy both the unusual plant collection and views of the sea around Forio.
