The Giardino Botanico Alpino Paradisia, located in Cogne in the Aosta Valley, Italy, was founded in 1955 and named after the Paradisea liliastrum, a mountain lily native to the region.

Situated at 1,700 meters above sea level within the Gran Paradiso National Park, the garden covers about 10,000 square meters and showcases over 1,000 species of alpine plants found in the Alps, Apennines, and other mountain ranges worldwide. It functions both as a nature preserve and an educational space, with man-made reconstructions of natural mountain environments such as wetlands, moraines, and limestone debris.

The garden offers visitors scenic paths, guided tours, and informative displays to promote appreciation and understanding of alpine flora and ecosystems. It also contributes to botanical research and conservation, maintaining seed collections and collaborating with international botanical institutions.
