Heidenschuh near Klingenmünster in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, is an early medieval ringwall fortification and one of the Pfalz's oldest refuges, built likely in the 8th or 9th century on the Treutelsberg at 440-455 meters elevation to protect Klingenmünster Abbey and nearby villagers from threats like Norman raids.

Named possibly for its "giant's shoe" mountain shape, this simple flight castle features two section walls accessed via hiking trails from the southwest or south, abandoned by the 10th century's end for newer sites atop the same ridge, with scant artifacts leaving its precise age uncertain.
