Herrenhaus Tüschow
Vellahn, Germany, Germany
Herrenhaus Tüschow is a protected late-classical manor house built in 1830 by architect Ludwig Bartning in Tüschow, part of Vellahn in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, on the edge of the Schaalelauf nature reserve.
Originally owned by noble families like von Bieswang, von Züle, and later the Lüneburg von Stern printing family from 1779, it passed through owners including von Hennig and Mangels until Soviet expropriation in 1945, after which it housed refugees and served as housing.
Thoroughly restored from 1998–2002, the two-story yellow brick building with nine axes, side risalits, and rethatched roof now offers exclusive holiday apartments and occasional events like breakfast buffets in its historic ambiance.
