Hirschhorn Castle, or Burg Hirschhorn, is a medieval fortress built around 1250-1260 on a ridge overlooking the Neckar River in Hirschhorn, Germany.

It was established on land given as a fief by Lorsch Abbey, which was under the Archbishop of Mainz's control. The castle features fortifications with walls, towers, a keep, a great hall, stables, and several gates and outbuildings, showing architectural elements from Romanesque to Gothic styles. It was expanded over the centuries by the Lords of Hirschhorn, who used it as a symbol of their rule.

The castle complex offers impressive views of the Neckar Valley, and its interiors include historic residences and a chapel. Today, it is a popular tourist site with a café where visitors can enjoy local pastries and wine, and the castle hosts cultural events.

The historic town of Hirschhorn, nestled below, maintains its medieval charm with half-timbered houses and original town walls, complementing the castle’s significance in the region.
