Hotel - Restaurant - Café Castle Liebenstein is a restored 13th-century medieval castle in Kamp-Bornhofen overlooking Germany's UNESCO-listed Upper Middle Rhine Valley, originally built around 1284 as an outer bailey to nearby Sterrenberg Castle by Albrecht von Löwenstein and later owned by knights who adopted the Liebenstein name.

Famous as one of the "Hostile Brothers" castles due to a legendary 14th-century feud with Sterrenberg—immortalized in Heinrich Heine's poem—it functioned as a Ganerbenburg shared by up to ten noble families in separate towers until abandonment by the 16th century.

Revived in the 20th century by the von Preuschen family and converted into a hotel by 1967, it now offers cozy rooms in historic towers, Rhine Valley views from terraces, regional cuisine, and events blending knightly ambiance with modern comforts.
