Hotel Schloss Calberwisch
Osterburg, Germany, Germany
Hotel Schloss Calberwisch is a Neo-Renaissance manor house near Osterburg in Saxony-Anhalt's Altmark region, Germany, built in 1875 by renowned architects Martin Gropius and Heino Schmieden to replace a dilapidated 17th-century structure on an estate owned by the von Jagow family since 1524.
After World War II, it housed refugees, served as a kindergarten, supermarket, and youth club during the DDR era, then underwent major renovations in 1995 for a restaurant and guesthouse that later closed.
Recently restored, it now operates as a hotel with event spaces, blending historic charm with modern amenities amid a scenic park.
