Jagdschloss Baum is a small former hunting and summer lodge in the Schaumburg Forest near Bückeburg in Lower Saxony, Germany, built between 1760 and 1761 for Count Wilhelm zu Schaumburg‑Lippe.

It stands as a compact rectangular stone building in late Baroque Classicist style, using the foundations of an older structure and rising above a sturdy stone ground floor with a clearly divided, column‑accented upper level that gives it the character of a refined country house rather than a large palace.

The lodge is set in an idyllic English landscape garden with a small pond, a grotto and two early Baroque portals that were originally made for Bückeburg Palace and later relocated here, creating a picturesque ensemble that reflects aristocratic taste for nature and classical forms.

The complex still belongs to the House of Schaumburg‑Lippe and is protected as a cultural monument, with guided tours and seasonal events allowing visitors to explore the building and park, walk on the surrounding forest paths, and experience the quiet atmosphere of this 18th‑century noble retreat in the woods.
