Lake Wilderness Arboretum in Maple Valley, Washington, is a 42-acre botanical sanctuary featuring five cultivated gardens, a 26-acre forest with hiking trails, and a Children’s Discovery Forest.

It showcases one of the world's largest collections of Western Azaleas and native Pacific Northwest plants. Open daily from dawn to dusk with free admission, the arboretum offers accessible paths, picnic areas, benches, and educational signage about plant uses, especially highlighting Indigenous connections on the Tribal Life Trail.

The arboretum is part of the larger 117-acre Lake Wilderness Park, which includes swimming, fishing, disc golf, and other recreational facilities. It was established in 1965 by volunteers and later transferred to local city management, serving as a community space that combines natural beauty with educational opportunities for all ages.
