Landgrafen Palace, also known as Marburger Schloss, is a prominent 11th-century castle crowning Schlossberg hill in Marburg, Hesse, Germany, originally built as a fort and later serving as the first residence of the Hessian landgraves starting with Heinrich I in the 13th century.

Featuring one of Germany's finest secular Gothic halls, a 1288 castle chapel, intact walls, and colorful interiors depicting biblical scenes like the Prodigal Son, it hosted the pivotal 1529 Marburg Colloquy between Luther and Zwingli while functioning as a prison and state archives over centuries.

Today managed by Philipps University Marburg since 1981, it houses the Museum of Cultural History with exhibitions on city origins, offers panoramic old town views, wedding venues, and event spaces amid its preserved medieval grandeur. This aerial perspective highlights the castle's commanding hilltop position with its towers and fortifications overlooking Marburg's historic core.
