Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska, is a 100-acre botanical garden and urban oasis located near downtown Omaha. Its origins date back to 1982 when local visionaries began planning for a public garden on a former limestone quarry and landfill site.

The gardens officially opened in 1994 and have expanded to include over 20 themed garden areas, such as a rose garden, herb garden, children's garden, Victorian garden, and a four-acre arboretum featuring Midwestern plant communities.

The Marjorie K. Daugherty Conservatory, opened in 2014, is a highlight with tropical plants, streams, and waterfalls inside a striking glass structure. The facility also includes a visitor and education center with a floral display hall, gift shop, café, and classrooms. Lauritzen Gardens hosts seasonal flower shows, educational programs, and community events, attracting over 200,000 visitors annually and serving as one of the top botanical destinations in the U.S.
