Lehmann Garten (also called Lehmann-Garten) is a botanical garden in Templin, Germany, located on the grounds of the former Joachimsthalschen Gymnasium at Prenzlauer Allee 28. The garden was originally founded in 1607 by Prince Joachim Friedrich for the gymnasium and was redesigned in 1912 by teacher Professor Gustav Lehmann as a school garden for teaching and experimental purposes. It covers about 2,500 square meters and was重新 laid out again in 1988/89. Today it serves as a museum and display garden that cultivates more than 450 varieties of wild, ornamental, and useful plants, including many local Uckermark species, and is used for educational displays for local schools and the public. The garden is open to visitors from March to October every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00, and it also participates in events like the Open Gardens Uckermark and Day of the Open Monument.
