Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois, is a public two-year institution serving around 12,000 credit and non-credit students annually across multiple campuses and centers including locations in Edwardsville, Alton, Carlinville, and East St. Louis.

Founded in 1970 on the historic grounds of Monticello College, the second-oldest women's college in the U.S., it started with 450 students and has since expanded its facilities and programs significantly. The college offers nearly 40 career programs, associate degrees, and transfer options along with continuing education, workforce training, and a nationally accredited dual-credit program for high school students.

The Godfrey campus features the Monticello Sculpture Gardens, which is also recognized as a Signature Garden site by the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Lewis and Clark is known for its supportive community, flexible scheduling including online and night classes, and strong advising and tutoring services that help students achieve academic and career success.
