Lichtentaler Allee in Baden-Baden, Germany, is a picturesque 2.3-kilometer long historic park and promenade along the west bank of the Oos River.

Originating as a simple path connecting the town to Lichtenthal Monastery in the 17th century, it was transformed into an elegant English landscape park during the 19th century, largely developed between 1850 and 1870 under the influence of casino tenants Jacques and Edouard Bénazet. The avenue features around 300 species of native and exotic trees and shrubs, including azaleas, chestnuts, magnolias, and maples, and is dotted with monuments honoring famed visitors like Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms.

The Allee links Baden-Baden’s town center with Lichtenthal and is renowned for its beautiful gardens, serene walking paths, historic villas, and cultural landmarks, making it a beloved natural and cultural oasis in the city.
