Limahuli Garden & Preserve in Haena, Hawaii, is a 17-acre botanical garden and 985-acre nature preserve located on the north shore of Kauaʻi Island, rooted deeply in Native Hawaiian cultural and ecological traditions.

The garden, part of the National Tropical Botanical Garden, lies within an ancient ahupuaʻa, a traditional Hawaiian land division stretching from mountain to sea, reflecting a sustainable system of resource management.

Limahuli includes restored loʻi kalo (taro terraces) dating back about 1,000 years, pristine native forests, archaeological sites, and a stream that runs through the valley. Its mission combines ecological restoration with cultural preservation, showcasing native Hawaiian plants, traditional farming methods, and the intertwining of nature and community responsibility known as mālama ʻāina (caring for the land).
