The Martha Springer Botanical Garden in Salem, Oregon, is a 1-acre garden located on the campus of Willamette University, and it was opened in 1988.

The garden was dedicated to Martha Springer, a beloved biology and botany professor at the university who taught there for thirty-four years. It features twelve smaller gardens along the Mill Race that bisects the campus and includes a variety of plantings such as English perennial gardens, native plants, historic and modern roses, a butterfly garden, herb garden, alpine rock garden, and themed borders.

The garden also contains a Japanese garden, showcasing traditional design elements. It functions as an educational resource, offering a quiet and beautiful space for students and community visitors to enjoy diverse plant collections, including both cultivated and native species. The garden is actively maintained and serves as a symbol of the university’s commitment to botany, ecology, and community engagement.
