The Memphis Botanic Garden, located on 96 acres in Audubon Park, Memphis, Tennessee, began developing in the 1950s with gardens like the W.C. Paul Arboretum and Magnolia Garden, gradually expanding to include 23 specialty gardens such as the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, Sensory Garden, and Butterfly Garden.

The garden emphasizes both beauty and education by hosting a variety of community events, educational programs, and plant collections, including a notable conifer collection and herb garden. It features unique areas like the Water Garden and the Hyde and Seek Prehistoric Plant Trail, along with facilities like the Goldsmith Civic Garden Center and Hardin Hall event space.
