Mittelburg in Neckarsteinach, Germany, is one of four castles built between 1100 and 1230 by the noble Landschad von Steinach family.

It was likely founded around 1165 by Conrad I von Steinach, the youngest son of Bligger II von Steinach. Originally, the castle was partly a fief of the Bishopric of Worms and partly an allodial holding. Over the centuries, ownership shifted through various noble families and church authorities, with the Landschad von Steinach family regaining full possession in the 16th century.

Extensive renovations transformed Mittelburg into a Renaissance palace in the 16th century and gave it a Gothic-style makeover in the 19th century.

After mediatization in 1803, the castle passed to the Barons of Dorth, who still own it today under the name von Warsberg-Dorth. Mittelburg is a private residence but represents a historical blend of medieval, Renaissance, and Gothic architecture, standing as an important landmark among Neckarsteinach's famous cluster of four castles.
