The Moro-Naba Palace, located in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, is the official residence of the Moro-Naba, the traditional ruler of the Mossi people, the country’s largest ethnic group.

The palace remains an important symbol of the centuries-old Mossi Kingdom and continues to play a significant cultural and ceremonial role in modern Burkina Faso. The site is best known for the weekly Moro-Naba Ceremony, held every Friday morning, during which a historic ritual reenacts the ruler’s symbolic decision to choose peace over war.

This tradition has been maintained for generations and attracts both locals and visitors. Although much of the palace is not open to the public, it remains one of the most important cultural landmarks in the country.
