Museo de Ciencias Naturales "Augusto G. Schulz"
Resistencia, Argentina, Argentina
Museo de Ciencias Naturales "Augusto G. Schulz" is Argentina's only natural science museum of its kind in Chaco Province, founded in 1965 in Resistencia and uniquely housed in the historic former Resistencia railway station building—a national heritage site at Pellegrini 802.
It showcases Chaco's biodiversity through permanent exhibits on species evolution, fossils, prehistoric animals, meteorites, local flora and fauna, plus interactive activities for children focused on biological research and experimentation.
Recently transferred from municipal to provincial management under the Chaco Culture Institute after 60 years, this small yet complete attraction draws families and school groups for its engaging displays amid the city's cultural scene.
