The Oro Verde Botanical Garden (Jardín Botánico Oro Verde) is a protected natural area and educational space located in Oro Verde, a small town about 10 kilometers from Paraná in the Entre Ríos Province of Argentina. Created in 1994 by students of Agronomic Engineering at the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER) and inaugurated in 1996, the garden spans approximately 12 to 21.5 hectares and features native regional plants, medicinal species, an herbarium, and a systematic botanical collection. It is managed by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of UNER and serves three main purposes: educating people about plants, supporting scientific research, and conserving local flora including threatened species. The garden was declared a Protected Natural Area under Provincial Law No. 8967 and offers guided tours lasting about two hours that explore both the autogenous plant garden and the native forest along a natural stream.
