Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City is a celebrated 15-acre urban green space established in the late 1970s following a vision inspired by Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens.
The garden was designed by the New York firm Conklin + Rossant, after a nationwide search, with groundbreaking in 1977 and opening of the signature Crystal Bridge Conservatory in 1988. The conservatory features thousands of plant species housed in a unique tropical glass structure. The gardens surrounding it include a perennial garden, water features, walking paths, a children's garden, an amphitheater, and a dog park.
Visitors can enjoy year-round events such as the Oklahoma Gardening School and seasonal light displays during the holidays. Situated downtown near cultural attractions like the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, it serves as a vibrant retreat blending horticulture, art, and recreation within the cityscape, playing a key part in Oklahoma City's revitalization efforts.
